Worldcoin Expands Services to Singapore, Emphasizes Identity Verification with World ID

The World App, working with World ID, now has 1.7 million active users globally, with Singapore added to its growing list of verified locations. Users can confirm 'unique humanness' through the Orb device, following the release of World ID 2.0 and the iris recognition pipeline.

Tools for Humanity (TFH), Worldcoin's project partner, joins ACCESS and SFA in Singapore, expanding the project's global presence. The initiative, co-founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, emphasizes identity verification, rewarding members with WLD tokens upon registration.

Despite pausing operations in India and temporary halts in Brazil and France, Worldcoin reports steady growth. The project extends verification services to new locations, including Spain, Germany, Chile, and Japan, with over 10,000 daily verifications in Argentina.

With over five million opened accounts, TFH becomes the fifth most popular hot wallet globally, while the World App sees 1.7 million active monthly users and 30 million transactions. The company aims for a broader rollout in Brazil and France in 2024.
