Spaaace

SPAAACE, short for Singapore Performing Arts Academy and Cultural Events, is a multi-disciplinary arts organization located in the heart of Singapore. It offers a wide range of services, including production and rental of event spaces, artistic development programs, and professional services such as marketing, event planning, and technical support. SPAAACE is known for its state-of-the-art facilities, which include a 700-seat theatre, dance studios, music rooms, and a black box theatre.

SPAAACE was founded in 2003 by theatre veterans Tony Trickett and Danny Yeo with the aim of nurturing and promoting performing arts in Singapore. The organization has since grown to become one of the leading arts organizations in the country, producing and hosting numerous high-profile events, including the Singapore International Festival of Arts and the M1 Singapore Fringe Festival. The current CEO of SPAAACE is Low Kee Hong, a prominent figure in the local arts scene who has held leadership positions in several other arts organizations. In recent years, SPAAACE has been recognized for its contributions to the arts community in Singapore and received numerous awards and accolades, including the National Arts Council’s Distinguished Patron of the Arts award in 2018.
