Singtel and Nvidia Collaborate on AI Infrastructure in Southeast Asia

Joining the NVIDIA Partner Network Cloud Program, Singapore Telecommunications Limited, commonly known as Singtel, will enable businesses in the area to access NVIDIA's full-stack artificial intelligence (AI) platform.

In a statement released on Thursday, Singtel stated that its Nxera regional data center company, which is creating a new breed of hyper-connected, sustainable, AI-ready data centers, will host the NVIDIA-powered AI Cloud.

Bill Chang, CEO of Nxera and Singtel's Digital InfraCo unit, stated, 'We are pleased to collaborate with AI leader NVIDIA to deliver AI infrastructure services, democratizing access for enterprises, startups, government agencies, and research organizations to leverage the power of AI sustainably within our purpose-built AI data centers.'

'This partnership offers businesses in many sectors a simple on-ramp that can hasten the development of generative AI, massive language models, AI fine-tuning, and other AI tasks, 'These are components of our next-generation digital infrastructure to support AI adoption and digital transformation in Singapore and the region, along with our sustainable AI DCs, 5G network platform, and our AI cluster with NVIDIA,' he continued.
