Singapore's Entropica Labs Raises $4.7 Million for Quantum Software Development

Singapore-based quantum software developer Entropica Labs has successfully completed a $4.7 million Series A funding round led by Italian deep tech venture capital firm Liftt and existing investor Wavemaker Partners. Additional investors include SEEDS Capital, CerraCap Ventures, SUTD Venture Holdings, and Elev8 VC.

The funding will be utilized to expand the team's expertise in computing architectures, software engineering, and quantum error correction to accelerate software development. Entropica Labs will also continue to collaborate with top quantum hardware suppliers for thorough product testing on actual quantum hardware.

The company aims to provide fault-tolerant quantum software solutions, addressing the challenges faced by quantum computers in minimizing errors, with the goal of making quantum computers more practical for real-world applications.

Established in 2018, Entropica Labs is on a mission to advance the development and widespread use of practical quantum computers through software tools and solutions.
