Biorithm Secures $3.5M Series A Funding for Women's Health MedTech Expansion

Biorithm, a Singapore-based Women's Health MedTech company, has successfully closed a $3.5 million Series A funding round led by Adaptive Capital Partners and SEEDS Capital. The funds will be utilized to extend the reach of Biorithm's connected pregnancy management products, starting with Southeast Asia and the US. The company, with regional headquarters in Singapore and US headquarters in Boston, plans to conduct additional research on remote care efficiency to support the patient experience throughout the pregnancy journey.

Biorithm, after completing successful trials in Singapore and the UK, will expand its clinical trials to key markets. The company aims to improve mother and baby health globally by fostering collaborations with stakeholders. CEO Amrish Nair expressed a commitment to eliminating preventable pregnancy complications, citing socioeconomic challenges and technological limitations. Biorithm's innovative Femom platform focuses on remote maternal-fetal care, aiming to set new standards by monitoring biometrics and preventing complications.

The technology, backed by new and existing investors including Adaptive Capital Partners and SEEDS Capital, plays a crucial role in transforming the healthcare environment for women. Adaptive Capital Partners' founder Shi Ying and SEEDS Capital's Tan Kaixin highlighted the importance of Biorithm's product in enabling remote monitoring, improving access to quality treatment for pregnant moms, and driving positive changes in the maternal health industry worldwide.
